Surf and Watersports Club - Scotland, becomes a registered provider of Adventurous Activities for both Moray and Aberdeenshire Councils.

With our new status we are now able to attract community and school groups and provide training for them. This is an exciting opportunity for the club and prospective schools and groups to come and try surfing. Surfing has a great number of benefits, not just the physical activity but also in promoting self-esteem and satisfaction. It is a wonderfully inclusive sport that allows children of all ages, who might not otherwise engage in more 'main-stream' activities to take part and succeed. It helps to develop teamwork as whilst on the water we operate a buddy system, putting the onus on children and young adults to take responsibilty for their buddy and can also be used as part of the new curriculum for excellence or as part of the government targeted 2 hours of physical activity per child, per week. We're so keen to get more people involved in this wonderful sport that we heavily subsidise the cost of groups and school children to attend our sessions.

For more information or for an informal discussion about your requirements please call or e-mail us using the contact us page.
